SOTURI (so·turi) a Finnish word meaning Warrior. Commonly used as a literary term when alluding to ancient warriors. Warrior are fearless, strong and skilled; forever striving toward mastery of their craft.

Where It Began

As a retired Marine, I have long carried a passion for watches and their role in military culture. That passion grew into a deeper obsession with the most versatile companion to a timepiece — the watch strap. Between deployments, I turned to leathercraft, creating my own straps and developing a respect for the discipline and detail behind the craft.

A Different Path

With many skilled leathercrafters already producing exceptional straps, I set out to create something distinct. I began reimagining materials with history — Cordura canvas, ripstop fabric, and decommissioned military uniforms — transforming them into bespoke straps that fused heritage, resilience, and refined craftsmanship. Each design married traditional techniques with modern methods, resulting in pieces that carried both strength and story.
